Kent Ridge Secondary School is looking for stall-holders to operate the above 2 stalls in our school canteen from May 2024. We are located at 147 West Coast Road, Singapore 127368.
We are a single-session school with an enrolment of about 1300 students and staff. Our canteen operating hours are Mondays to Fridays from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm daily during the school term. The canteen will be required to operate during the school holidays, upon request by the school.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Stall-holder and assistant(s) must be Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;

Able to provide food that meet the health/nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) under the Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (HMSP);

Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices;

Able to observe a high standard of food and personal hygiene;

Able to maintain cleanliness of the stall and canteen area in collaboration with the other stall-holders;

Stall-holder must be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours;

Prior experience in catering or operating a stall in school canteen will be an advantage;
Successful applicant will have to attend and pass the Food Safety Course Level 1 (formerly known as Basic Food Hygiene Course) and then apply for a Food Stall Licence issued by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) to operate the stall.
Application Procedure:
Interested applicants can obtain the hard copy application form from the school’s General office or download a copy from the school’s website.
Submit the duly completed application form with the following supporting documents:

Photocopy of applicant’s NRIC (front and back)

Proposed menu and pricing for all items

Photocopy of relevant certificates (i.e. Food Safety Course, etc.)
The completed application form and all the required documents must be submitted to the school’s General Office by 19 April 2024 (Friday), 4:00 pm.
Alternatively, the application form and required documents can be emailed to the school at krss@moe.edu.sg by 19 April 2024 (Friday).
Only shortlisted applicants will be notified. Shortlisted applicants are required to attend an interview with the School and be prepared for a food tasting session.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
