Our staff members enthusiastically gathered during the last week of the June holidays to polish old skills and embrace new ones. Most of them attended the First Aid course to refresh their skills in order to be better equipped to handle emergencies during term time. There were sharing sessions by teachers on tried-and-tested pedagogies that their colleagues could adopt. We also had a special guest, lawyer Josepheus Tan, who shared unabashedly about the dire trials he went through in life and the support of family and teachers which helped him scale to great heights. Fun and games soon ensued as staff members enjoyed mini-workshops run by our very own teachers on brushpen calligraphy, baking, photography and sports. It was an enriching experience which helped everyone get back into a momentum before the start of term.
