Craft & Technology
Overview
We believe every student has the ability to make connections, think critically, strive for continual improvement and have a deep appreciation of design, food science and the aesthetics.
Art Unit
Besides providing understanding of visual elements, aesthetics, and skills
in handling various media and conceptual tools, our Art students in KRSS
are also actively involved in using their art skills to improve the community
by using Arts & Crafts to raise awareness and instill a sense of responsibility
to protect and preserve the environment.
Nutrition Food Science Unit
Our aim is to nurture concerned citizens who take an active role in bettering
the lives of those around them through their knowledge in nutrition and
health, food literacy and food science.

a connection to music.
Programmes
Lower Secondary Modular Coursework
Through fun and age-appropriate mini projects, students gain awareness
of aesthetics and experience hands-on lessons in the special rooms such
as workshops, kitchens and studios.
Upper Secondary Thematic Coursework
Thematic coursework emphasises the development of critical thinking skills
such as analysis, planning, interpretation and evaluation. Given a set
theme, upper secondary students are able to see their paper ideas turn
into actual prototypes.
