On the 26 of April, the Secondary Four Literature students rallied together to produce an adapted version of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar for the 2016 Literature Showcase.  With the help of three comical and enthusiastic student narrators, Jeanine (4E5), Alexis (4E7) and Lucas (4E8), the class captivated the audience and transported Kent Ridgeans back in time to 44 BC Rome, where a troubling conspiracy is brewing in the house of Brutus.

Despite the imposing language and complex ideas presented in the text, the students were able to memorise and effectively deliver their lines, with a most striking rendition of Mark Antony’s famous funeral speech by Kevin (4E7).  We are proud to say that it was a riveting performance and that the students thoroughly relished the experience.

Well done!
